Charlie Davis, who is known better to his reading audience as Charlie Chawtoma Davis, has been a philanthropist since an early age growing up in Montgomery, Alabama. Some Sunday mornings for years, this minister has opened the doors of his small church, The Holy Lane Christian Church, where he is a leader, to the poor homeless majority and other multicultural and interracial groups to come and be served.

Charlie Davis teaches his family, as he calls them, how to walk circumspectly in the world. His teachings are based on Love and Unity while learning to rebuild and relive a victorious life, the life that The Almighty God has planned in Jesus Christ. After teaching on Sundays, Dr.

Davis feeds his family a hot meal and always gives a gift to help when leaving the church. I have been a part of this ministry and a friend for quite some time now, and I have been watching, listening, learning, and helping to serve, and in my experience I have learned much about Dr. Davis and what he believes in, whether he is for real or not; I believe he is the real-deal. Davis is now retired as a Bus Operator for N.

Transit where he was employed for almost thirty years. He has been awarded countless times for his matchless service within the Company and accommodated by hundreds of passengers over the years. The passengers call him their Motor Coach Carrier Transportation Engineer, because he is so patient with people. He ranked second place as the best bus operator in the State of New Jersey in his division in and first place in His love is serving people.

He says Jesus was the servant of the human race. Davis has lived in the City of East Orange, New Jersey for more than thirty years and that is where he raised six children with the help of others who are all grown, having their own families.

Davis serves as counselor for the poor and homeless. He opens his church for many poor people from the shelters over the years. Davis, and in my research I discovered that many people call him the Chief of Public Service.

On occasions, he substitutes for the 6th, 7th, and 8th grades in Bergen County. Davis attended Bible Institute for six years. Davis ran for Vice President of A. Davis organized his own business, Roman Imperial Guards a private unarmed Security Guard Company , to employ some of the poor and homeless from the shelters, but it has ceased to exist now.

Officer Davis trained in the full block of instructions with the Newark Police Academy and continues to train every six months. He has written more than twenty spiritual songs, countless sermons, eleven books in which he endeavors to publish, and three novels which are published and are now on Amazon. How can one man facilitate his personal time and schedule his services in so many areas of public service?

I am very proud of my friend because his efforts are dedicated to helping impoverished people while still serving the community at large. Who am I? Charlie Chawtoma Davis is my friend. Account Options Sign in. Charlie Chawtoma Davis. Derechos de autor.

An epistolary novel, The History follows the letters of loose cannon Congressional office workers, insane interns at a large New York publishing house and disturbed publishing executives, along with homicidal rival editors, kindly family friends, and an aspiring author named Septic. When humans first ventured out of Africa some 60, years ago, they left genetic footprints still visible today. By mapping the appearance and frequency of genetic markers in modern peoples, we create a picture of when and where ancient humans moved around the world. These great migrations eventually led the descendants of a small group of Africans to occupy even the farthest reaches of the Earth.

Victor Chimezie is a Nigerian actor who hopes to make it big in Hollywood. At long last, his agent lands him a part in a major studio production—an action film that promises to be a blockbuster. The catch, however, is that the project is premised on an all too familiar notion—namely, that Africa is nothing but a war zone, a place where child soldiers run amok. The ambitious Victor has convictions: he had vowed never to appear in such a film, but the opportunity, odious as it is, will mean good money, and it may lead to other, better projects. Writer-director Ukoh recently transformed 54 Silhouettes into a one-man show—a vehicle for rising Nollywood star Charles Etubiebi, who performs all the parts.

Who Owns South Africa?

When the road was cleared and paved, in the nineteen-twenties, the plan was to keep going through the mountains toward Cape Town, but that project, like many other public works that followed, was abandoned before completion. Consequently, McGregor has a sleepy, almost otherworldly feel. Summers are long, winters are mild, and the soil is fertile: fences along the dusty roads crawl with hot-pink Zimbabwe creeper and orange Cape honeysuckle.
